This Pro M Studio shell pack features Mapex's exclusive I.T.S isolated tom mounting system. The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance. The bass drum's non-penetrating I.T.S. double tom holder isolates the bass drum shell from any vibration from the tom toms.

The toms and snare drum are equipped with exclusive Mapex powerhoops. Made from 2.3mm chrome steel, the Mapex powerhoop provides flex resistance without adding unnecessary weight that may mute the drum.

These drums are one of the best looking drumsets I have seen (liquid blue). The sounds is good right out of the box but as soon as I get new heads on these there gonna sound great.

I purchased this set in the stunning Caramel Fade. The shells are absolutely beautiful. After taking some time to get all 6 drums tuned, the sound was unbelievable. The stock heads are made by remo and I'll keep them until they need to be replaced. I added some cheap tuning rings and these drums are amazing! I can't get over the 14 and 16 toms, and the snare crack is awesome. These are thunderous drums that sound awesome without mics and are perfect for recording or performing.

I have played other sets by top brands in stores, but this is, by far, the best sounding I've heard. There may be better out there, but nowhere comparable to this price range. You will not be disappointed.

By the way, Mapex offers a lifetime warrenty on these Pro M shells AND they are 100% American Maple.

I purchased a 7 piece Pro M kit a few weeks ago in the carmel fade. The drums sound great, tune up very nicely and look like a piece of fine maple furniture. The free snare is cool too. Good hardware and locking systems. This ones a keeper!
