This Pro M Power Plus 24 Shell Pack features Mapex' exclusive I.T.S isolated tom mounting system. The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the drum shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance. The bass drum's non-penetrating I.T.S. double tom holder isolates the bass drum shell from any vibration from the tom toms.

The toms and snare drum are equipped with exclusive Mapex Powerhoops. Made from 2.3mm chrome steel, the Mapex Powerhoop provides flex resistance without adding unnecessary weight that may mute the drum.

The Mapex Pro M snare drum sports a 20-split-lug design for greater tuning precision and a sleek, contemporary look. All Pro M components have identical low-mass, single-point-of-contact lugs.

Why not get the good kit!

My 13 year old percussionist purchased this shell pack and it is the kit he will play for a long time. He started on a "toy" drum set and we made the jump the ProM series to avoid purchasing multiple drum kits over the next few years. Why purchase cheaper drum sets when you can get one of this quality and not have to replace it every couple of years? The sound is great when you get it tuned to how you play and I would recommend replacing the heads to get to a stage quality sound. He purchased the Cherry Fade and the finish is nothing short of incredible. The shell pack comes with good stands for the toms and cymbals but it sets up easily on a Pearl Rack. As a sound engineer with young percustionist you can't get a better shell pack for the price. If you mic this set you can blow the doors off any venue you play. The percusionist that plays in the band I run sound for wants this Kit. Overall this shell pack was a great purchase and it is built to hold up to the abuse it will see with a young percusionist that will be moving this set from home to school concerts, band camps, church services and outdoor concerts. At this price you won't find a better shell pack. The Pearl Icon Rack is great add on if you need to move the drum kit a lot and get it set up quickly.

Absolutely a phenomenal deal!! The drums look and sound amazing. The 20x24 kick is massive in looks and sound! The toms sing, snare has great depth and crack! Tom mount hardware is amazing. I swapped out the ambassador batters (powerstroke 3 on kick) for better heads (evans coated reverse dot on snare)remo powersonic on kick emperors on toms. Buy them!!

I ordered this Mapex kit and I'm completely happy.The 20"x24" is way bigger sounding than the 26" on the previously mentioned kit. The whole kit is simply amazing and looks and soundwise will measure up to ANY on the market today. The shell pack hardware will blow you away as will the whole kit!! Get it!

This is an awesome kit. Mapex is a truly underated and not very well known brand. Totally worth your money though. Its cheaper now then when I bought it so take advantage of that! Of course the stock heads are ok at best but even with them it sounds ok but if you get some quality heads the kit is amazing.
