This Pro M Classic shell pack features Mapex' exclusive I.T.S. isolated tom-mounting system. The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing maximum projection and resonance. The bass drum's non-penetrating I.T.S. double tom holder isolates the bass drum shell from any vibration from the tom-toms.

The toms and snare drum are equipped with exclusive Mapex Powerhoops. Made from 2.3mm chrome steel, the Mapex Powerhoop provides flex resistance without adding unnecessary weight that may mute the drum.

The Pro M snare drum sports a 20-split-lug design for greater tuning precision and a sleek, contemporary look. All Pro M components have identical low-mass, single-point-of-contact lugs.

Amazing kit

I had been interested in getting a new kit for awhile and after doing some research I was very interested in the Mapex brand, but I was still hesitant.

After talking to a guy who ran a drum shop and sold Mapex, he convinced me to go with it. I only needed a four piece kit and this was an amazing value. The tone is perfect, even with the stock heads. I went ahead and replaced the snair head immediatly at the suggestion of the shop owner, and will replace the rest when I get the cash for it.

The Liquid Blue Pearl is BEAUTIFUL! I recomend that one, but I also saw the Red Pearl finish, and it was outstanding.
