The drum shells have an exterior maple veneer finished with eight coats of hand-applied lacquer. Complemented by the matching lacquered bass drum hoops, this Mapex drum kit has a gorgeous appearance that's sure to shimmer under the lights. The Isolated Tom System protects the shell's integrity and allows the toms to vibrate freely, ensuring maximum projection and resonance. OS cymbal accentuators create enhanced cymbal sustain, and the 550 Series double-braced Performing Artist hardware means your components stay in place, however heavy a hitter you are. Remo heads all around mean you're ready to go straight out of the box.
