Decent snare drum.

I have used this drum extensively for a little more than 4 years, though i do not own it. It's tone is pretty good, but it is very hard to control dynamics with it. I have tried a Remo Renaissance and Evans Dry aside from it's stock head, and they all have the same problem. Very limited tuning range and tough to get very loud or very quite. Works well at between a mezzo-piano through forte.

This is an awesome snare, easy to tune!!! Band director got it for our middle school. Nice finish, nice sound! one thing is, make sure you get a new top head(preferably remo weatherking ambassador.) Tune it tight for a sound you'll never forget!! Get this snare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
