This drum set is a really nice kit i gave it 4.5 because the hardware that comes with it kinda sucks but it will do the bass pedal is amazing though! The stock heads are terrible but thats with any drumset but i got the evans onyx 2 ply and now it couldnt sound better combine that with some moogels and you are golden. the cymbal stand will work its not the greatest in the world but it will hold an 18 inch crash ride very well teh high hat stand is pretty good but it is pretty short i cant get it as high as i want but im a tall guy so most people shouldnt have any problems with overall this is a great drumset for anyone with a little tuning it can sound as good as a proffesional kit i would reccomend this drumset to anyone!

My 5 year old daughter got the itch to play drums and I wanted to inspire to play but did not want to bust the bank and did not want some cheap junk. These drums are GREAT!!!! Low cost, nice quality, and decent sound. I was a sound engineer for 13+ years and heard them all, and these stack up pretty well with the high dollar stuff. I figure at some point she will break a head, and then I can upgrade to something better, but the out of the box experience was great. The only down side (and this is from my daughter) is that they did not come in Pink or Purple.....

i dont see why people have trouble with the tom mounts because the work fine if you tilt them, but the floor tom does ring, so if you dont plan on getting new heads soon, tighten the resonant head real tight but keep the tone even as possible. really good set for the money.

I have been drumming for three years, and got this set two years ago. i plan on replacing it soon. It's a good starter and/or extra set for practice. The stock heads are alright, but won't last long, i still have them because i can't afford new ones. i couldn't get the toms the way i wanted them, they were either too far apart, or too high, so i just flipped them so that i would use the bottem head as the batter side. the snare and floor tom ring a great deal, i bought an aquairium studio ring, and put duct tape on the tom. the hardware has held up well. nice first buy.

They are built well, easy to set up, and fun to play. Though as soon as I got it I oredered new heads. Idid not like the original heads much. The bass drum is double bass capible, I used DW4000 double bass pedals for max performance. Great drums, great price.
