Great Kit Minor Issues

I first ordered this set in the Power Configuration in Wine Burst colour. But found out it would take 4 months to get from my local dealer. So I settled for a kit they had in stock. It was in blue. But not just a blue covering but a BEAUTIFUL blue wood grain finish,was I impressed.But they forgot my bass drum legs. So the store supplied me with a better set I had to drill one hole in my bass drum as the mounts were 3 holes. But better legs telescoping. So that was the 1st thing that was a drag. Also the bass drum pedal's spring where it locks to the cam shaft striped the lock down bolt thread. They should have bevelled the cam where the lock bolt tightens down and NOT used white metal for where the bolt tightens to the cam. But again I was able to get a new part assembly under warranty at my local dealer. Besides these minor defects it is the BEST set of drums I have come across in years. I put Remo Pins on all drums with 6 Nice Zildjian A's and WOW. What a kit!! AWESOME thunderous bass. Great cymbal stands!!And all hardware with the few exceptions mentioned is incredible. But this blue wood grain finish is to die for. EXTREMELY pleased and would highly recommend this kit to ALL level of players. 100% birch NICE VERY VERY PLEASED

Hey Guy's i have had this drum set for 5-6 days and when i first got it out of the box is was astonished The color was sick and the fade made it even better and the sound just toped it off. I didn't have to tune the left and right tom but the snare i had to just alittle it depends on your style. And to tell you that the bass drum and floor tom don't have the head's on them when you get it. Its easy to put them on. This was my very first drum kit that i got offline and i love it. Overall its a very good kit. O ya i forgot to tell you the hardwear is very heavy duty and is very well made.

I Have Played This Kit, and let me tell you, AMAZING! the snare has such a nice sound, the bass drum has such a nice deep sound! the hardwear that is included is really nice also! the Toms have a really nice sound to them! AWESOME KIT! all you need is cymbals, i reccomend this for anyone! Great Sound, Great Price, Great Fun!

Honestly, I cannot believe the price on this set of quality Ludwig drums. This set comes with great hardware and the snare is excellent. The bass drum is real boomy and all the toms are mellow. I added remo pinstripes on the batters and sound rings. I have owned Pearl drums, sonor yamaha, mapex, but take my word, these drums are the bomb. Best kit I have played on the market.
