I actually play a Tama kit but i wanted some add on toms and after reading the reviews on the Ludwig toms i took the plunge and bought them. I have to say they have quickly become my favorite toms to play on. They blended into my Tama kit seamlessly and they deliver a great sound. The heads they come with are okay butto keep my kit uniform i actually replaced them with Remo Pinstripe heads. The stand is also very heavy duty overall for the money you cant beat these add on toms, great job Ludwig

When i first got these for an early birthday present i was shocked..... speachless i played them all day and now i think ive had them for about two years and the heads they come with are truly amazing its a must buy!!!!

i bought these for my set and they are wicked. they sound awesome and they have a little over tone but if you dampen it it will sound sweet.

This is one awesome add-on tom pack. They are a perfect match for your Ludwig Accent series kits. The look and sound are amazing. Heavy duty tom stand (double braced), Evans heads on the batter side and even a mount for a cymbal arm or accessory. You can't go wrong with this pack.

Well I read a lot about the product before I decided to buy it because I wanted to make sure that it was a good deal. First off I want to say that I have an entirely Ludwig Rocker/Accent kit and it sounds great. All the toms even though they arent suspended sound good and I have been told that it sounds better than some birch kits out there. So for the money, Ludwig all the way. But I have to say I was a little dispointed in these. While they are great for beginners and people looking for something cheap but good, they dont project as one key sound. If I go straight from my snare to the 8 or 10" you can barely hear the difference. They only have a little room to move so they dont stay loud for very long. The heads are also kinda flat. when I had them mixed in with my Remo Pinstrip, they sounded bad, but with like heads they sound pretty good. Also the 8 inch has 5 lugs which is kindof confusing. All in all they are good, by themselves they sound good and miced at a show they really project and give me that high sound I wanted. Although they just upped the price from 160 and because of that, I wouldnt buy them again, if they were the previous price then I guess I might. Just if you want some high toms at a good price get them. But dont excpect a pro sound. Just something good enough to be labled as acceptable and holds its own among other superior sets. P.s. the stand is definatly the best part about it!
