this thing rocks and it sounds so good! I play death metal and hiphop, and this thing suits my genre, the only thing is, it is made of wood that is extremely feasible to termites! Perhaps, gives pleasure to their gluttony.

These things are loud (audio and visual) and that is a great attribute concerning the maracas. They cut right through the mix with that classic sound and rhythm, which adds that spice to the cha-cha beat. They're perfect for live applications. The wooden handles are countoured to fit your hand comfortably. Even holding 2 in 1 hand feels pretty good while I play the snare and bass drum. The plastic has a brash tone than wood, but then again, it cuts right through. High Marks to LP!!

These are fantastic if you can keep a rhythm with your timekeeping hand while drumming. Just replace the stick with the maraca and you've got a shaker going while you play your regular beat. Terrific addition to a unique rhythmic beat.
