LPM199 Mini Tunable Bongos are replicas of their full-size counterparts, proving that quality sound can come from a small size. LP Mini Bongos make great gift items, desk accessories or perfect totable drums for playing on the go.

Modeled after the much-imitated LP Generation II Bongos, the LP Music Collection Mini Tunable Bongos are constructed from kiln-dried, environmentally friendly Siam oak.

The bongos are equipped with 3-1/2" and 4-1/8" calfskin heads, chromeplated hardware, miniature Comfort Curve II rims, and rubber bottoms to prevent them from marring any surface. The 4" tall LP Mini Bongos are fully tunable and produce quality tones.

So I got these for christmas and I have been playing them for a while now. They are definitely worth the money you spend. They are VERY small but that isn't a bad thing trust me.

These really sound like bongos, just way high pitched and surprisingly cutting. The macho head is a little too small to get a true knocking muted sound when playing a traditional martillo, but otherwise, you can pretty much do anything you want on these miniatures. Rim shots are a little hard to execute, again because the heads are so small. Open tones and slaps are fantastic. Real fun to play around with and super lightweight.

these bongos are great for the price, and they are great for traveling. they have pretty good heads, but i might change mine. the only thing that hapens is that if you play them really hard like in a godsmack song, the next day they will drop one whole step down. i recommend these bongos for someone who doesn't mind small size and a bit of tuning.

These things are awesome, they are very very small, but don't underestimate these bongos. They can pack a punch, Really! they have incredible sound, fun to carry around, and show off to friends and relatives. And even better to just play.
