This snaredrum is amazing! I own the 6.5 X 14 and it is most versatile. I've used this drum for Jazz to Doom Metal and it's performed flawlessly! I really dig how thick the shell is and the die-cast hoops. The strainer and butt are both adjustable so you can get the snares sounding exactly how you want them. I own the Merlot Sparkle and it is just gorgeous under the lights! If you can afford it and want a top-notch snare, this drum will more than blow you away! Buy One!
