I personally just love it. I used the stock head on top (Evans G1 Coated) and the resonant head I took of. The problem I noticed is that the bottom ring was a little small. Maybe a manufacturing error so, the stock resonant head was all crumpled up on the drum. I had to stretch it out and that helped a lot. Then in a week i just replaced it with a Gibraltar. Then it just sounded fantastic. Just enough of the ring to it and perfect snares off. With a muffler ring or some tape or moon jells it just sounds really tight. POP POP POP! I love it. It's a good buy.
