I got the 12" model and, to me, it's a great add on effect cymbal. This thing is solid and I doubt it will break anytime soon. I like the fact that you can take out the bells and the sislers, or just have the sislers, or have nothing on it at all. When crashing on cymbals they might drown it out a little bit. When played with other cymbals you wont hear the initial hit, but you will hear the sissle. And not to mention, it looks pretty sweet on the kit. great buy for the price.
