these beaters are horrible! i have these on my dw 4000 and there so heavy!!! you can do really fast double bass with these im planning to buy some lighter beaters :]

I got the DW7000 double kick pedal so these came with it. I have to say that they are a little annoying. It's great and all that they have rubber and felt on it, but it's so heavy that it's harder to play fast double kick (for all you Devine Heresy fans). I would not recommend these. I am going to buy the Tama CB90 beaters.

I got two beaters because I use a double bass pedal and they work great i like them it's a good price for new beaters.

I have used DW's beaters for over ten years now. I used DW pedals up until a little over a year ago, when I bought a pair Axis A-L's. It wasn't more than a week before I mounted the DW beaters on those A-L's for the most kiler pedal/beater combination I have ever encountered. PERFECT balance and attack, every time. I don't care what brand of pedal you use, or what style of music you play; get yourself a DW beater! You will thank me.

I bought the DW 7002 pedal, so these beaters came with it, if you bought them sepratly, then it's definetly worth the price. If you play it with the plastic/rubber side, it makes for a great punchy kick sound on you bass drum. Buy this beater.
