I'd been hearing about these things for a while now, and decided to go ahead and see if it lived up to all the hype. It does! I'm a drummer/singer who wears in-ear monitors, so I was missing out on all the bottom in the mix, and was really missing the feel of the subs thumping. Not only did the Buttkicker more than adequately compensate for me not hearing the subs anymore, I actually hear my vocals better as well. It's as if your monitor feed was going straight into your skeleton, so you hear it and feel it, internally. This product is genious. Everyone should have one. I DO NOT however know anything about their amplifiers. I'm powering mine with a Crown MT1200. Also, the connection terminal is pretty low grade, and be careful which buttkicker you buy, since one is 2 ohm,one is 4 ohm, and they do require a lot of power.

Now I'm wondering what the floor pad version is like...
